Training Rides
Our training rides aren’t just another ride – they are your opportunity to learn. We set ourselves apart from other rides by focusing on coaching. Our job is to teach you about different aspect of cycling, from pedal stroke technique to descending and climbing. Everything you’ll need to become a better cyclist.
All training rides will begin with riders gathering for a chalk talk that covers fitness and cycling issues. Your coaches will then run you through drills and give you specific techniques to work on before you set out on the ride. Once on the ride, coaches will be giving additional instruction, guidance and tips on a group and individual basis.
We offer three different training rides focusing on different aspects of cycling that progressively get you conditioned throughout the season, or prepared for an event such as Cycle Oregon. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other riders just like you with a common goal. Come out for the fun. Enjoy the challenge and the skill building that will improve your riding and fitness!
