The 2009 activity schedule is starting to take shape! Two winter sporting events are taking shape as well as the cycling season training and lectures. Be sure to put these in your calendar and check back for more details in the coming weeks!
The cycling season is upon us and just to prove it Cycle Oregon is announcing this year's route next month. Thursday February 5th - 7:00 at the Tiger Woods Center on the Nike campus is the official spot of the unveiling. Doors open at 6:00 and registration opens at 7:45. Last year's event sold out in 4 weeks so don't delay!

This year we're starting off with some great additions. Last fall Paul Collins and Tim Saruk joined our team. Starting this month, Ben Jaramillo has joined us. All three of these folks bring years of training experience and enthusiasm to STRADA. Stop by and meet them.

Last Saturday, January 20th, 16 of the STRADA family headed East to Mount Hood to enjoy a day of activity in the snow.
Last weekend some of our STRADA folks braved the recent heatwave to ride 145 miles from Eugene to Oakland (Oregon, that is) and back on the Cycle Oregon Weekend ride. As a continuation of last year's route, this route continued on in creating the Oregon Scenic Byway - a signed cycling route from Portland to the California border.
